SCUBA DIVING
Diving in Malta and Gozo is possible all year round. It is also suitable for divers with any level of experience. Water temperatures, reach 26 degrees Celsius for summer diving and go down to a minimum of 13 degrees Celsius for diving in winter. Underwater visibility is an average of 30 metres plus per day. Malta and Gozo also hold the reputation of having some of the cleanest waters for diving in the Mediterranean. Being an island, if the seas are rough, which is very rarely, there is always a sheltered cove somewhere accessible to divers

The Calypso Diving Centre, a fully licensed and government approved centre, has been catering for the diving trade since 1985. From the very beginning of the operation, the safety and the enjoyment of the clients have always been our top priority. Over the years, our reputation for our safety standards, organisation and punctuality are the envy of everyone. Our dive centre is the ONLY recognised BSAC SCHOOL in Gozo and also a PADI approved DIVE CENTRE.
In order to keep extending our services, we have invested a lot of hard work and money in new equipment and facilities for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of our esteemed clientele and today, we can honestly say, that our facilities are second to none in the Maltese Islands.
Our facilities to date include:

• Classrooms with DVD's, videos and OHP
• Changing room, where equipment can be washed and stored safely overnight

A team of professional and helpful instructors and staff (English, German and Italian speaking) to assist the clients and make sure that their diving holiday in Gozo is a safe and memorable one.
Apart from our diving services, we also organise tailor made package holidays for groups and individuals from all over Europe. These packages normally include transfers from Malta International Airport either by helicopter or by ferry, accommodation in Gozo in hotels, self catering apartments, guesthouses and farmhouses, jeep and car rental and other tourism related services.
6 DIVE AND 10 DIVE ACCOMPANIED PACKS
This pack is designed for divers, with a minimum qualification of CMAS One Star, PADI Open water or its equivalent. Dives are carefully selected by our qualified instructors to suit the divers qualification and experience. Divers are grouped together according to experience so that the maximum enjoyment and satisfaction out of every dive is achieved.
The price of the dive pack includes the use of cylinder, weights, transport from land to the dive site and the accompaniment of one of our highly qualified instructors, who knows the area very well. When boat dives are organised, a nominal extra charge for the boat is added. All we will need to see is your qualification log book/card.
6 DAY UNACCOMPANIED DIVE PACK
This dive pack is designed for divers who are in possession of a minimum qualification of CMAS Two Star, PADI ADVANCED or its equivalent, and who want to dive independently of our instructors. The cost of the pack includes the use of cylinder, weights and unlimited air fills for six days. Jeep or car hire, available through the dive shop is a must for this pack. Although we do suggest that the group leader should have a knowledge about the dive sites around Gozo, free information from the shop is easily available on a daily basis.
To qualify for this dive pack, clients must produce their qualification logbooks/cards.
